Wonderful Home Office

This home office is spectacular.
There is no window for daydreaming so you could really get a lot of work done there. I once converted a walk-in closet to an office and I loved it. via

So, interesting that you prefer not to have a window whereas I struggle without one. Doubt I would do well if my desk faced a busy sidewalk and street . . . think it's the light I crave as well as the need to know of weather events. Wonder what circumstances set this in our beings.

Linda -- I could never do without a window now. Back when I had a walk-in closet office I had no other frame of reference and that was when I had my very first computer and NO internet. Now I have a front and back window in my pantry office and in my attic, where my printer lives, there are three dormer windows overlooking my back field and two eyebrow windows overlooking the front. Plus I have a wireless laptop I can take anywhere. I definitely need to see what's going on outside with the birds, bikers, runners, mailman, etc. Plus the windows are usually wide open so I can hear the birds except on the rare days I am running my central air. So we are the same. xo, Rosemary

It's so tidy and the white walls and pale gray fixtures make it all feel light and airy. I would never have such a tidy space though and was relieved to read recently that brilliant people have messy desks. I'm by no means brilliant but I'm good at the messy desk thing.
